Our diverse team, including a former Kansas Secretary of Transportation and seasoned construction and progressive design-build professionals with knowledge and experience in transportation and infrastructure projects across the U.S., offers client, engineer, and contractor perspectives related to cost and risk management, design, and constructability. The session will address shared challenges contractors may face on the progressive design-build path, emphasizing how to shift from individual lanes (siloed working) to collaborative teamwork.
Case studies will highlight transportation work for the Florida Department of Transportation; and the $30 million Flyover Bridge for the Port of Port Arthur, Texas – a project funded through a combination of state, local and federal resources. We will also touch on the community collaboration achieved at the $500 million Water Plant infrastructure project in Wichita, Kansas.
