Collective Bargaining Negotiators Seminar

Monday, March 9th, 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM

AGC members and chapter staff directly involved in negotiating collective bargaining agreements for their construction company or chapter are invited to this special half-day seminar within the convention. The seminar will cover legal, practical, and strategic considerations for labor negotiators in construction. Attendees will enhance their knowledge and skills by learning about collective bargaining laws, the bargaining process, best practices in preparing for and conducting negotiations, and more.

The seminar is designed for beginners, but experienced negotiators should also find the program valuable. Advance registration required.

AGC Construction HR Professionals Summit

Wednesday, March 11th, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

The one-day Construction HR Summit provides a forum for greater peer-to-peer learning and interaction by facilitating an intimate series of moderated roundtable discussions. Select topics are chosen in advance by the HR Forum Steering Committee, and participants will have the opportunity to bring up additional topics for group discussion. Participants will spend the day sharing first-hand experiences, best practices, and solutions to the challenges HR professionals in the construction industry are dealing with. Breakfast and Lunch are included.

AGC In-House Environmental Managers Meeting

Thursday, March 12th – 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

A session of roundtable discussions exclusively for in-house environmental managers at construction firms.

AGC will poll the meeting registrants in advance of the meeting to identify the topics and case studies. Although highly informative, there are no formal presentations. This meeting is meant to foster peer-to-peer learning and engagement on the unique opportunities, situations and challenges for environmental professionals working “in-house” at a construction firm.

The discussions are highly interactive and intended for environmental managers at general construction firms only, though, participants’ job titles could be project managers, sustainability managers or safety/risk managers, for example. This meeting will not be open to outside industry consultants. To ensure active discussion, space will be limited at this meeting to 35 participants. Breakfast and Lunch are included.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your registration and wish to receive a refund, minus a $200 cancellation penalty, provide an email or other written notice of cancellation to meetings@agc.org or to Ms. Rockkie Dunton rockkie.dunton@agc.org within 30 days of your registration.

After 30 days all registration fee(s) will be non-refundable, either in whole or in part. Please email Ms. Rockkie Dunton rockkie.dunton@agc.org for special consideration.

Substitutions are acceptable, the request must be submitted in writing to meetings@agc.org or to Ms. Rockkie Dunton rockkie.dunton@agc.org no later than March 6th, 2020.

No refunds or substitutions will be accepted over the phone.
