Walk away with practical strategies you can put to work immediately.

Marketing & Communications Breakouts: Setting Your Marketing Budget to Meet Your Goals
Speaker: Angela Crawford, VP of Membership & Marketing, The Builders

In this session, we will review the steps necessary to strategically build a marketing budget by auditing past activities, setting SMART goals, and aligning your budget to meet those goals. As part of the session, attendees will engage in an exercise to evaluate three to five of their projects/initiatives for viability in the next budget. Attendees will also receive templates to use within their own organization to evaluate initiatives and better align other stakeholders with marketing and association goals. Attendees will better understand:
• What past data/information is useful in setting goals and creating a budget.
• How to set SMART goals related to budget.
• How to conduct a value/resource rating graph to evaluate where to target resources.
• How to ensure other departments align their needs with defined goals.
• The importance of measuring efforts and adjusting accordingly.

Workforce Breakout: Workplace Wellbeing in Practice: How Chapters are Supporting Members Across
the Industry
Speaker: Brynn Huneke, Senior Director of Member Engagement, AGC of America

Developing a healthy construction workforce involves recruiting and training individuals for work, as well as supporting the full range of factors that shape employee experience, including mental and emotional wellbeing, financial stability, workload and flexibility, benefits navigation, physical health, and workplace culture. Chapters play a critical role in helping member companies respond to these interconnected workforce needs.

This workshop-style session explores how chapters are supporting workplace wellbeing in practice through programs, resources, and partnerships. Participants will share what chapters are offering today and identify opportunities for AGC to strengthen chapter support for members serving as workforce stewards across the industry.
