During our 91st Annual Convention in March of 2010, AGC of America will be embracing a program called Operation Opening Doors, a charitable effort to provide accessibility and quality of life improvements to the homes of disabled veterans. The program, which began in South Dakota with AGC's South Dakota Building Chapter, offers a way for AGC Members to give back to people in need and recognize those who make sacrifices for our country.
We need your help to make this project a success.
The home renovation is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, the day before our convention begins. We are asking for volunteers to participate in this important project and/or donate supplies and materials.
We are currently working with the Florida National Guard to identify a veteran that would most benefit from our support, however, with enough participation, our hope is to be able to impact the lives of many of our service men and women.
If you are interested in supporting this effort, or would like additional information, please contact Nahee Rosso at 703-837-5348 or rosson@agc.org.
